A revolution, a 3D Internet where a science fiction themed world is open for settlement and you can create your own avatar. Travel the Hypergates (literally) to other virtual worlds as well, hosted in different countries. Learn how to roll your own world . . . it's a trip and a half! Remember there are some rules here, just be nice to others and the things they create. If you can't, go play somewhere else.
I hope you really enjoy it as much as I did creating it! I have a number of other blogs linked to this one across the top. Did this whole thing for $70 a month and that's phenomenal if I even say so myself . . . My claim to fame is I am the worlds first science fiction blogger with his own virtual world (Nov. 2008 per records, originally OSGrid, now independent using Opensim Diva Distro with a custom build Drupal website front-end). Built with Opensimulator, connecting to the 3D science fiction virtual world of Viradu requires downloading and installing the viewer on your computer, creating and registering an account with us, For Mac users connecting and login to Viradu setup takes some mins (on your Windows, Linux or Mac) computer and is totally FREE!
Once completing it, not only will you get a free avatar and free land to build and create Sci-fi things on with others, but you'll be part of a sci-fi loving community of people in a great virtual space!!!
Viradu is a cool virtual world to start in . . . I assure you that you'll be connected to Viradu in no time. Once you have an account set up in Viradu, you'll be able to teleport to other virtual worlds around the Internet using The Hypergates system.
Get started right away click the blue buttons, "Install Viewer" to download and install viewer on your computer (if you already have a SecondLife viewer installed on your Windows computer, follow these instructions), then click "Register Account" and create a new account, then click the "Connect & Login" button for detailed instructions to configure your vierwer to access Viradu.
